HONEST HOTEL REVIEW: LE PIRATE BEACHCLUB NUSA CENINGAN

Le Pirate’s insta-worthy turquoise painted box house actually reminds me of the colorful bathing boxes in Melbourne’s Brighton beach and to have stayed inside a jam-packed box for 2 nights is somewhat is a fun and unforgettable experience. In this post, I will share with you my stay experience at Le Pirate Beachclub at Nusa Ceningan and why it will be your best all-rounded accommodation when you are venturing the Nusa islands.

The Indiana Jones Yellow Bridge that connects Nusa Penida with Nusa Lembongan

Yes, it is a box house and it is true that they have limited room space, so there was a bit of a hassle and organization needed to fit our luggages (but don’t worry they all fit in the end) however, pretty much all you need in a decent accommodation is there. They provide two glasses with a water pitcher for your daily hydration, a pair of electrical plugs and most importantly air conditioning, not to mention they are ultra-Instagrammable, which is one of the major reasons we ended up staying there.

Conviniently located approximately 10 minutes boat ride from Nusa Penida and a cross over away from Nusa Lembongan, the boat drop us off daily right under the Indiana Jones-esque Yellow Bridge (that connects to Nusa Lembongan). To reach the hotel, you will need to walk at least for another 10 minutes. On the first check-in day, Le Pirate staffs will voluntarily pick you up and arrange motorbikes rides for the whole group and your luggages, but if you are staying longer, then you have to either walk or charter their employees for motorbike ride back and forth to the hotel for an additional charge.

Personally, I love the stay experience at Le Pirate. First things first is because the damage per night is not too costly and I may say its quite affordable for the services and the effort in design and ambiance that they provide. Additionally, they maintain room cleanliness (with white linens and all & housekeeping service daily), a safety box, individual outdoor shower with toiletries, decent breakfasts, WiFi connection and to top it all of a gorgeous infinity pool with views to the turquoise waters right outside your room, perfectly positioned to catch both beautiful Bali sunrise or sunset.

Can I stay here all day?

Not only that the resort’s turquoise tone color puts everyone on a good vacay mood, but also each room is also equipped with an outdoor deck complete with a lounge sofa and a Build Your Own hammock kit for that extra leisure (& for the gram). Although the resort area is quite small, it is well maintained and beautifully manicured with tropical palm trees and plants, they also sell decent food and drinks and they have a good playlist that echoes good vibes throughout the hotel.

So there you go, have a golly fun beach holiday and island hopping with your squad or go make new friendships with your next-door neighbors while out tanning by the sun loungers, oh so easy breezy.
